Norwich Castle

Elise has been wanting to visit a castle for a few weeks now, each time she sees a church or castle she says, 'I want to go in there.' We decided to go and visit the Norwich Castle. We had a great time. Elise's favourite part were the princess dresses they had on display. She also got to wear a princess dress.

Norwich Castle is a museum so it had lots of things to see. We searched for a few dragons when we came out too.

We have been doing the dragon trail in Norwich. With over 80 to find our chances are slim to find them all but we have founds lots :)

 

Summer is in full swing......

We have so much to catch up on. Elise did her last session at St. Helens. I was really sad as Elise has done so well there. The staff have been amazing in helping her to settle and grow in confidence. Elise has loved her time there and I am so proud of her. I am hoping I have made the right decision to change her to Ghost Hill nursery. St Helens have said she can go back if Ghost Hill doesn't work out. This is Elise's key worker Sophie. She was the first person that Elise clung to the first few weeks.

 

After lots of tears of thanks and goodbyes (from Mummy) we headed off to Winchester to start our holiday. We spent 2 nights in a Days Inn so we could spend time at Peppa Pig world. We had a great time as a family. We met Peppa Pig and family. First Peppa Pig pjs.

Elise was queuing for a ride with daddy when I saw Suzy Sheep. I quickly asked her to run to me so she could meet her.

As soon as she'd met Suzy she ran back to join the queue for the Windy Castle ride.

The girls all loved the muddy puddle splash area, especially Elise. I'm so glad we took time out for them to experience it. Paulton's Park was great for all the girls and we will hopefully  be going back at some point. There are around 7 rides in Peppa Pig World and then numerous rides in the main park. Elise's favourite had to be the rollercoster and possibly the water raft ride too. I was amazed at how brave she was.

After day 2 at Peppa Pigs world we headed to Somerset to stay with Auntie Ann. We had a good time and enjoyed a trip to Swanage beach and bowling. Elise won the game.

I did a little experimenting with the camera outside Auntie Anns.

I love spending time as a family. I will update on more adventures soon. We have lots to catch up on.

Meeting Cinderella

On Saturday the girls were invited to Leo's birthday party. They were very lucky to meet another princess, this time Cinderella.
Auntie Carina did an amazing job. As well as Cinderella there was also a disco bouncy castle which Elise had a great time on too. Maya enjoyed the party food and waving at every one. Eva loved all the cuddles the guests were willing to give her. :)

Meeting Elsa and Anna 25th May 2015

On the last Bank holiday Monday I took Elise, Eva and Maya to a frozen event in Yarmouth. Jeanette came too to help with the twinnies. Elise had an amazing time. I was so proud of her she had so much confidence and she loved every minute of it. It was very similar to her party with the original story, games, singing and dancing. Elise chose to go as Anna which I was pleased about as the last time she met Elsa at her birthday party she wore her Elsa dress. Elise has 2 more Frozen events coming up soon. She also has a very special cousins party on July 4th who is also going to have a very special guest.

Wroxham Barns

Yesterday we took the girls to Wroxham Barns, its one of our favourite places to go.
Elise loves the rides. We were able to feed the baby lambs and Elise did the pony grooming. They also do chick and guinea pig cuddling. We love it so much I have bought season tickets. Maya is loving walking around by herself and enjoyed toddling around the farm yesterday. One of her favourite things is ducks. She and Eva spent a while watching some.
We have lots to do at home at the  moment but I feel its important to take time out to spend as a family especially with Darren's shifts and Elise starting full time nursery in September. I can't believe how quickly the time is going. I really want to hold on to these little girls and freeze time.

Lowestoft beach trip

Last Wednesday Elise went on a school trip to Lowestoft. She was very excited as we also went by train. We invited our friends Jami and Faith too.
Elise and Faith loved the beach, especially the sea. We were only there around an hour but they spent the whole time running in and out of the sea. We had 2 very happy little girls. You can just see the happiness on their faces. I feel a little guilty that Elise hasn't spent much time on the beach. This year will be different. Jami said that she wanted to spend more time on the beach too so we are going to plan some dates to spend some time together.

Foxley Wood

Today we took the girls on a bluebell walk to Foxley Wood. It was amazing and very beautiful. I couldn't believe the amount of bluebells. We got some lovely photos of the girls. This will definitely be a place we will return to each year.

Starting a family blog

I decided I really to keep a family blog and record more of our memories made together. I want to keep it up to date and also do some back dated posts.

Today we went to the city. Darren took Elise to the cinema to watch, Penguins of Madagascar, while I took Maya and Eva shopping. This afternoon I helped Elise plant the Sunflowers she did at school.
